Hi, I’m Shelee Long. I used to be a lot of things to a lot of people. I was a lawyer. I was a victim. I was afraid. I was a just another statistic. It took a long time to get from who I was to who I am.

In my current life, I’m a lot of things that I have chosen to be. I am fierce. I am a survivor. I am a woman. I am a mom. I am a wife. I am God’s beloved daughter.

I write about surviving domestic violence and recovery after getting away from abuse. I write about how God pulled me out of the mess that I was in so that I could be here today to say wonderful words of encouragement to you. I hope that you find some encouragement, some recovery, and some real talk about what it’s like to be on the other side of victim. I’m fierce about recovery and thriving and faith.
