Today I’m continuing with another word of encouragement for you. This month, I want to spend all my time encouraging you. You can read the prior post here. In my pursuit of the Good Life, I want to look at being positive this month with you.
“Therefore, since God in his mercy has given us this new way, we never give up.” 2 Corinth. 4:1 NLT.
I read this verse and I immediately felt encouraged. I felt like “yeah!” It’s a reminder to never stop doing the right things for the right reasons. It’s a reminder to never stop fighting against the darkness in this world. It reminds us that we have God to support us when we’re weak. It reminds us that God is there to put us together when we’re a wreck.
It reminds us that God is merciful. He gave us a new way of living life. It reminds us that he pulled us from the dead, planted our feet on solid ground, and taught us how to walk again. It reminds us that he is tender, merciful, and forgiving. It reminds us of his great love for us.
It reminds us to never stop fighting. Even when life is hard. We know about hard – having been beaten, forgotten, and tossed aside for so many reasons. It reminds us that even when we don’t have the strength to keep going, we have someone who will keep going for us.
So sister-friend, today I want to encourage you. You don’t have to stop fighting because you have the God of the universe on your side. You don’t have to be strong all by yourself, because you have the God of the universe on your side. Walk with God and he will hold you up. Never give up the good fight.
