Hey everyone! It has been a busy couple of weeks for me at home. We’ve packed up half our house, painted everything, and did two days of showings. We got our house under contract and we’re gearing up to move! It’s all super exciting but it’s also a lot of work.
In the last few days, I’ve been getting little whispers from God. Do you have this? You know, like when something is happening, you’re upset or feeling like blah, or whatever and then you get a song that speaks to your heart and reminds you that God loves you? I want to share some of them that I’ve received recently with you.
In July I want to encourage you. I think life is hard sometimes and we all need a little positive encouragement. So, I want to start today encouraging you that God is with you, he has not left you, and that it’s going to be okay.
So this month, in search of the Good Life, I want to look at the bright side with you friend. My motto is “Change your mind, change your life.” It’s so true. If you’re looking on the bright side with me, we’ll be positive together. We can sprinkle that stuff around like glittery fairy dust! Wouldn’t that be awesome?
I want to start with a lovely song that I’ve heard on the radio recently. A couple weeks ago, I was in some serious warfare with satan and his minions. I was at my counselor complaining and grumping. I was under serious pressure with everything going on at home. On the way I heard this song. “Todo Estar Bein” It translates to “Everything will be alright.” It spoke right to my heart.
In my heart I heard God say “Everything is alright.” It already is alright. I don’t need to wait for something to get better. The song reminded me of the kid’s song “He’s got the whole world in His hands” and I was reminded he’s already won the war, he’s already got the victory, and even if the world stopped spinning today, he already has it in his hand.
So friend, if you’re struggling today, don’t forget that our Father already has you in his hand. He didn’t forget you. He was the one who created light from darkness, split the ocean away so that land appeared from the deep, and created you in his image. He’s the one who gave you breath to breathe. He won’t let you fail.
Everything will be alright. Everything is already alright.
