Monday Prayer

Hey Friends! It’s Monday and Mondays can be hard. I thought what better way to get through a hard day than to pray, right? If you noticed, yesterday we didn’t pray together because I want to move our prayer time to Monday. I don’t want to flood you with too many posts. I also thought instead of morning, maybe mid-afternoon should be the time to pray. I usually get antsy and anxious on Monday afternoons and a quick prayer time will calm me right down. What do you think? Great!

Dear God – We come to you right now to bring our hearts back around to focus on you. We thank you for the blessing of a rest over the weekend. We thank you for having given us a morning to wake up today and a job to do. We know that life is full of blessings and hardships especially right now. There are many people who are experiencing hard times right now, including some of us, we ask that you lift them up, give them hope, and provide for their needs. We are reminded that you are the God who provides. You are the God of peace, the God who sees us in our afflictions. You are the God who heals too. So we bring our whole selves into this prayer time and stand before you with our thankfulness, our humanity, and our needs. We know that you can lift us from whatever circumstances we are experiencing and ask that you do. Thank you for all you do, all day, every day. In Jesus’ name, we come to you. Amen.

Today’s verse is Philippians 4:19 NLT And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

I hope you have a wonderful week this week.

As always, if you want someone to pray for you post a comment below or send an email to me. I’d love to hear from you.

Success! You're on the list.
